JOBS AND VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT KIDS OF SUMMER

Love sports?  Have experience working with children?  Want to spend time around the game you love?  We are always looking for dynamic, energetic, responsible coaches and staff.  At Kids of Summer our coaching staff is at the heart of what we do, which is providing amazing sports programs and camps for children.

As a Kids of Summer coach you make a difference by teaching our campers not only how to be better athletes, but instilling confidence, self-esteem and life lessons that will impact them for years to come. We want to surround our campers with positive role models, experienced athletes and caring and compassionate people.  

We are looking for the following:

• Baseball Coaches
• Basketball Coaches
• Flag Football Coaches
• Rookie Sports coaches (Ages 4-6)
• Social Media/Photography Interns or Director
• Junior Camp Director
• Licensed Van Drivers for transportation service

Coaches can be ages 15 and up. They must have some experience playing or coaching the sport they are interested in. Previous experience with children is a plus.

VOLUNTEER POSITIONS: If you are looking for community service hours we also give community service credit to volunteer coaches as well.  Please email us!

CIT (Coaches in Training): We offer our 15 year old coaches a chance to work with campers, learn responsibility and be around the sports they love in our coach in training program. Coaches will receive real world job experience in a fun and exciting environment!

DATES AND HOURS: Camp runs June 15 - September 4 (12 weeks)

8:30 AM - 3:30 PM Monday to Friday. Camp is located in Riverside Park at West 104th Street on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

For paid coaching positions we expect coaches to work a minimum of 8 weeks or more (Monday-Friday).
