WHY KIDS OF SUMMER?
Since 2002, thousands of children have attended our camps and return year after year
Our coaching staff is the best around. Many coaches have former pro or college playing experience in the sports they coach and all have years of youth coaching experience. Our staff are carefully chosen for their energy, knowledge, maturity and caring nature and several are former campers who have been part of our community for years.
We pride ourselves in offering the best sports program around at the best value in NYC. We believe nowhere else offers the quality program for the price with prices starting as low as $400/week for the full week program with early registration and multi-week sign up discounts available.
Each day at camp during the week is different with a targeted and organized drill program followed by real game play in the afternoon every day! Campers are broken into groups based on experience level so they gain the confidence to succeed and with a maximum of 6:1 camper to coach ratio, each camper gets the personal attention they need to improve!
Our facilities in beautiful Riverside Park right on the Upper West Side of Manhattan are second to none. Featuring four full size turf athletic fields, two outdoor batting cages, six outdoor basketball courts. With updated bathroom and water facilities and an on-site restaurant all in a tranquil setting along the Hudson River, Kids of Summer offers an NYC sports camp experience like no other.
We know NYC parents can be busy! Therefore we offer several add-on options for our summer program. A twelve week program up to Labor Day, single week sign-up minimums, on site restaurant providing optional lunch program, early drop-off, late pick-up at 5:30 PM and round-trip transportation to name just a few
Kids of Summer is in partnership with the Riverside Park Conservancy and a portion of all tuition fees go towards the care and improvement of Riverside Park for all New Yorkers. In addition, we provide a financial aid program helping many children attend camp at reduced scholarship rates.
